MICHAUX Henri

(1899 – 1984)

French naturalized Belgian writer, poet and painter.

He became interested in art in 1925. He studied a lot about creation through drugs, especially mescal and marijuana. He is an introvert and doesn’t like to be mentioned. Under the influence of hallucinogens he expressed his creation in an instinctive way. He favored movements and rejected rational reflection.
